Hay y'all I hope everyones enjoyin the sunshine, its been bloddy beautiful recently!
I'm orf to the gym again in a mintue, was there at 8am yesterday, it was a task gettin out of bed for that I'm telling ya!! But you know what I pick up the papers and magazines these days and all I see are celebrities getting thinner!! And thinner and thinner...and It makes me feel awful! The thing is I just think that its so silly to even try and reach that kind of size unless your girls aloud and have diets and rigorous dance routiines. But I understand girls! all these skinny celebs has made me get back into the gym and admittedly I feel the pressures to stay thin these days.
So far I think since I started out in this industry I've gone from a size 10 to an 8 which I think is a 4 in the usa but can you imagine being a size zero!! I can't imagine being that thin!! Anyway nuff said big love xx
I agree Vavrath - it's definately an unreal industry, i'm a dublin model and the pressure is crazy so i do sympathise with Sandi. But also the message should be clear that the standard many celebrities set is in actual fact an illusion - there are loads of airbrushing examples on you-tube which will make your day if you're ever feeling down xox
P.s Sandi you are so refreshing from the typified pop star - natural beauty always gets my vote!
Hi there Sandi, my name is kirstin chalmers, i am 6 years old and am a huge fan!!! You played some songs at my school recently, Banff Primary School, and i loved it!!!!! I live in banff and think it is sooo cool to have a star like you who lived near me. Thank you for the punk rocker song, its my favourite!!!!
It's good to stay fit, but the models in the magazines use various photographic tricks to look that way or are simply sick. Don't use them as a template. Its more important to be happy than being of a certain size. Nice site. looks like a lot of effort to keep it up.
