hay y'all!! this is a quick one to say i got an award!!! it was for the best breakthrough artist and i had no idea that i was getting it!! ha ha!! i was actually outside in the foyer doing an interview and they annonuced it while i was in mid-interview!!! anyways it was amazing getting something like that and i feel really proud!! so im of to oz on friday, am really dreading the long flight but totally excited about going there and its meant to be really hot so hopefully i can get a tan!! cant wait to see what kind of reaction i get out there! should be great i think!!...and hopefully while im there i can go jet skiing and stuff, ive also taken up kick boxing so me and the boys are gonna go a few rounds!! ha ha!!anyways id best be off, got to go rehearse for gmtv!! big love x x x
hello one and all!!!! ive been off for the last few days so soz for not checkin in but i decided to have a weekend without phones, email, blogs, journals, text messages or black(chuck)berrry's!!!! been hanging out in the country this weekend, was peaceful and quiet and i ate lots of chocolate and drank wine!! am going to the bond premiere tomorrow night in london so im totally excited about it!! havent found myself a dress yet so gonna have to make a mad dash to the shops tomorrow to buy something quick!! aaaarrrgghhh!! its always a bit scary when you dont know what to wear!! anyways im orf to attempt to make the dinner, wish me luck!! biglove y'all x x x
hay schmoo's, im totally knackered so im gonna make this a brief one....weve arrived in san diego, played LA lastnight, it was cool, had quite a few beverages after so were all feeling a little rough today!! playing the house of blues tonight..should be fun, anyways im gonna catch 40 winks before the gig so take it easy peeps, big love xx
hay ma peeps!! we are in the big apple, got here last night and im totally jet lagged.....yawn,snooze... anyways , we did some radio lastnight when we arrived which was great and totally funny cos we were all so dozy from the flight. Then lastnight we were waitin in hotel reception to get our room keys and none other than david hasselhoff waltzed in!!ha ha it was ace, he was there like some huge giant towering above us...i cant believe i met knight rider!!! anyway i went to this college radio convention today and hung out with some fellow muso's and some industry types and i met some peole that you should check out, theres one dude by the name of jason soudah who comes from herne hill in south london and plays the local circuit down there like the bedford in balham and the half moon in putney(to all you dudes not from the UK apologies if you dont know what im talkin about)anyway check out his myspace on myspace.com/jasonsoudah.....talkin of the bedford i went there the other night to see this band play, they were amazin, the front man's called paddy milner and hes awesome so check out his myspace also its myspace.com/paddymilnerandthebigsounds!! got some other peeps for you to check out,piers faccini, drew isleib and mark aaron james, cool i feel like ive served my duty as a fellow community muso, so listen up guys ill keep you posted on all the goss and news, flying to LA tomorrow so will check in with ya's then, big love sandi x x x
hay peeps, im on the last gig of the tour now and its really sad cos weve been having such a ball over the last month but anyways i feel really under the weather at the mo, gonna take me all my bits to play this gig tonight but i cant let birmingham down!! we were thinking of playing this gig in fancy dress considering its so close to halloween so who knows we might end up dressed up as pirates tonight!!so of to america soon, its mad cos this will be the 3rd time we've played some of these venues in the last year, its gonna be great to go back and play to bigger audiences!! anyways looking forward to playing to alll the US fans soon and thankyou to all my peeps in the UK who came to the gigs, its been an absolute blast!! big love, sandi xx
Hello Peeps! Hows it all going? I'm in Berlin at the mo, promoting the album. I had to get up at 4:00am this morning so I'm a little bit dazed right now!The tour has been going really well. We've played some great gigs sice the last time we spoke - Portsmouth, Brighton and Norwich. I can't believe there's only 4 more left! hay y'all, im sittin in dublin airport, have decided to catch a ridiculously early flight to get home and see my boyfriend!! but in doing so im totoally knackered but hes very worthit!! anyways have played the belfast and dublin gigs now so were officially on to the second leg....cant believe how quickly its going its crazy, soon we'll be of to the states to start another tour!! wow what a crazy year its been, anyway i think im gonna go find a comfy chair(if thats possible in an airport!!) and have a wee snooze, catch ya later peeps, schmoo schmoo x x
Hey peeps, Sorry its been a while. I hope you've been checkin out the blogs on Myspace! In the mean time, to keep updated, we've now played Nottingham, York,Liverpool, Glasgow (twice!) and Aberdeen and we're already on the 10th date of our tour! Can't believe its going so quickly! I'm loving the tour bus (if you didn't read the myspace stuff, basically we've got this wicked tour bus - it's got a fridge and a microwave and 14 bunk beds and a living room!! It's so cool.....) Anyways I'm at home with my ma and bro at the mo chillin out. Gonna catch a flight across to Belfast tomorrow to meet up with the boys for the next gig, big love y'all x x x ps, I just saw a sneak preview of the Lonely Girl vid and it's totally fab, I think everyones gonna love it!! Woop woop my little schmoo's, so we're in Nantwichtonight on the tour, 3rd date already, can't believe it!! anyway, I was really worried about my kitty cat last night because no one was in the house in Tooting and he still hasn't worked out how to use the catflap! but everyone assures me he'll be fine... been visiting my boyfriend's parents today so thats been cool and it was my first year anniversary last night so we went out and drank mojitos! Was supposed to be singing the Scottish national anthem today at a football match in Glasgow, but it didn't happen at the last minute, I was totally gutted, my ma and pa would have been so proud! got to go soundcheck now, big fluffy love y'all XXX ;-)
