Well schmoo's I'm back in the land of the living after my expidition to Siberia!!Its a nightmare in Russia if you do not speak the lingo! But never the less the exclipse was amazing.
So...Its drawing closer to Saturday Night release time!!! It is due out on the 25th of August so get ready for it!!!
Anyways, its my birthday on Monday!! Aaargh, I am getting older!!! Another year gone by and still no engagement ring on my finger although i have a sneaky suspicion that on Monday I might get a bit of a shock!!! Who knows, a girl can only ever wish, right!??!!
The Brighton pad is looking sweet - although it is in total upheaval at the moment cos we are putting a new kitchen in! Its looking really good though!!
Yesterday I went to get my parking permit for our london flat from this parking shop up the road and I swear to God I was in that shop less than two minutes and when i came outside my car was being clamped and lifted on to the back of a lorry!!!!! I mean, for God sake how ridiculous is that! I then pleaded with the removal man who showed me no mercy then the traffic cops turned up and saved the day!! They said to this dude that he was being totally out of order and to release the care at once!!! Hurray!!! What a bloody drama... I tell you what I want a word with Gordon brown cos the roads in london are governed so heavily cos the government makes heaps of money out of praying on the public and giving them tickets after being a second late! And, look at the state of the roads!!! I think everybody in the country should refuse to pay road tax until they loosen the reigns slightly!!
Anyway, that's my rant over.... I'm off to a party tonight called 'The Elizabeth Arden Party', Just bought me some new shoes so I am off to parade around in them!!!
Whats up dudes, at the moment I am sat in a hotel in a city in Siberia caled Novosibirsk!! Yes i am in the far reaches of Russia and also quite close to Mongolia......you might wonder what the hell im doing here!! Well, just yesterday there was a solar eclipse. You could see it partially from most places in the world but the best place to experience this total solar eclipse was in this city in Siberia, the path of the eclipse happens to run straight through it.
So, my bro and I be friended a load of Brits and we all headed out to this lake, there was a beach there too, probably man made but none the less it was a beach!! We set up shop with our various cameras and camcorders etc and waited!! This was my brother and I's first solar eclipse so I must admit I was pretty apprehensive!! There's something quite frightening about it but at the same time exhillerating knowing your witnessing a cosmic wonder.
It was one of the single most amazing experiences of my life, I am now a fully fledged eclipse hunter and am going to the next one in 2012!! I was really worried about our eyes though cos even at 99% eclipsed you still cant look at it with the naked eye, you have to watch it through special lenses or welders goggles to protect your eye, the only time you can stare directly at it is when its totally eclipsed and that only lasts about 2 minutes!!
It was so freaky...about a minute before totallity the animals started freaking out, all the birds started dive bombing the beach and the dogs were barking like mad, the sea went totally calm and it became very dark....all around us there was a 360 degree sunset, it was spectacular and the eclipse itself was unreal, everyone on the beach was jumping around and cheering....it was pretty cool my friends.....
I have heaps of pics that I'll get up on my photography site so you can see what im talking about.....
I've enjoyed being out here....I felt like such a hippy...its been great!!
Back to the grind unfortunately tomorrow, but were gonna make a quick stop in Moscow on the way back to do a bit of partying...Russian style!! The vodka's pretty sweet here y'all!!
ps.....how cool is it that Saturday night's single of the week on radio 2, big up radio 2 for A listing my single!!!!
Hay Y'all, ever fancied yourself as an actor or a pop star or ever fancied starring in a music video?? Well now is your chance. Music videos don't always have to be about glammed up popstars!! This time round I am making it about YOU!!!
So, If you wanna see yourself in a video then all you have to do is send your favourite pictures of you and your mates out on a saturday night to [email protected]!!!
The sillier they are the bettere, I want you down the pub with your bezzy mates, having a drink and a laugh, it does not matter if your lippy is all over your face or your flies are undone!!!
Hay peeps. hows it goin? At the mo I am on my way to Leeds today to play at a Party In The Park!Should be a good laugh!
Absolutely shattered thous! As you know I drove to Scotland on Wednesday, it took me 8Hours and absolutely killed me! When I got there my mum and bro ha layed out this massive BBQ which was great!! I bloody love BBQ's! Then me and bro had to get up uber early to drive to Glasgow to help the Oxfam raise awareness and emergency appeal. I was really happy to have been patrt of that and I have actually been talking with them about going out to one of the regions like Somalia or Kenya and taking a film crew so keep you eyes peeled for that.
After that my bro and I drove to Liverpool to attend the Lipa Graduation on Saturday at the Philarmonic Hall. I was invited as a special guest. We were in some awesome company that day - Including, Cathy Dennis, Nitin Sawhey, the legendery actor John Hurt, Trevor Horn and off course Macca!!! It was ace, I had a blast, Macca gave some great advice, he said "look out for those accidents!. He said he remembered being in the studio with the rest of The Beatles and the engineer had accidentally rigged the tape up the wrong way round!! When they listened to the playback everything was backwards, instead of thinking - Oh god, Whats That! - they used it on all their guitar solos and guess what, so did every other band!!. I think what he was trying to say was dont be afraid to do something that is different. Grea advice!!!
Later on at dinner i had some awesome convos with a few peeps from the 60's and the 70's, they were telling me all these stories about the way things were in music back then, it was a great night. I think my bro and I may have asked john hurt if he would act in one of our short films! Ha Ha! That would be cool!!
Anyways, Ive got to go put my make up on so take it easy, squeezys, Big Love, S xxx
I am driving like mad through the night to get to Glasgow to support the emergency Oxfam appeal. The situation in East Africa is worse than ever, the water shortage is desperate so i'm going to help build a massive 11,000 litre bottle of water in the middle of George square to raise awareness. Any help from anyone would be so appreciated.

Yesterday we headed down to Cornwall to headline the Big Top Weekend!! Was an awesome gig right by the beach, Beth Rowley and David Jordin played, my mate Sam Beeton was also on the bill and the lovely boys from McFly played a stormer, as well. It was a great night had by all!! So, after the gig we decided to do an all nighter on the bus cos we had to catch a 7.20 flight to Munich!! Playing at the Munchen festival tonight, think we are headlining one og the stages so probably going to be another late one!!! Tomorrow we are off to Wales to play another fezzy!!! Aargh we'll be pretty knackered by then but hay this is rock n roll!!

I attended the black ball last week in London which was all in the aid of keep a child live, a fantastic organisation set up to support aids inflicted children in Africa. It was a fab night... I got to watch Damain Marley, Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox play!! I was dead chuffed cos loads of people commented on my dress but just between you and me, it only cost me £25!!! Ha ha!! who needs designer labels eh!!
I also went to this wicked party the other night, Mark Ronson was there and all those other london peeps Daisy Lowe and Peaches yada yada... It was a laugh though, found a grand piano in one of the rooms and started a bit of a sing song!! I was a wee bit tipsy like so the tunes were flowing, attracted a bit of a crowd too and got everyone singing the beatles let it be!! It was ace fun!! not sure if appreciated it though cos she was DJ'ing and I stole half her crowd!! He He...
Twas a smashing night though... me and my mate got followed to our car by a load of photographers. I tell ya I never know what to do in those sittuations!! I jus smile and blush ni embarassment! I find it very funny to be honest!! I think theyre hoping I might trip or fall into a cab with my knickers round my head!!! Ha Ha No not me, you won't catch me with my knickers round my head!!! Well, certainly not in publiuc anyways!!!

I'm orf to the gym again in a mintue, was there at 8am yesterday, it was a task gettin out of bed for that I'm telling ya!! But you know what I pick up the papers and magazines these days and all I see are celebrities getting thinner!! And thinner and thinner...and It makes me feel awful! The thing is I just think that its so silly to even try and reach that kind of size unless your girls aloud and have diets and rigorous dance routiines. But I understand girls! all these skinny celebs has made me get back into the gym and admittedly I feel the pressures to stay thin these days.
So far I think since I started out in this industry I've gone from a size 10 to an 8 which I think is a 4 in the usa but can you imagine being a size zero!! I can't imagine being that thin!! Anyway nuff said big love xx
