Reserving judgement until I get her album. Which is now in the post! But I wish I was a punk rocker was the track that initially captivated me. _________________ HOVIS www.surfstaffs.co.uk |

Hey!!
I've not heard much of Sandi Thom yet - will have to get th album!!
So I'ld have to say my fav song is 'I wish I was a Punk Rocker' I really love the lyrics. I think a lot of people will relate to them when it has mass coverage which is inevitable!! _________________ The Misfit . . . |

First heard Sandi on Radio 2 late last year when Johnny Walker played I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker. Totally captivated straight away. Went to see you supporting the Proclaimers in Irvine just before Xmas, was lucky enough to meet you in the interval & you signed a copy of your CD for me. Saw you at Big In Falkirk last weekend & loved hearing the songs again. (My daughter was the one at the front of the crowd singing along to Punk Rocker). Shame you didn't get to do a few more! Anyway I'm coming to King Tut's on the 15th so see you there! Heard Johnny Walker play When Horsepower Meant What It Said yesterday morning & recognised it straight away. Sounds like a fantastic recording. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album. I think you're gonna be a great success!

I've only heard Punkrocker by Sandi - just heard it on Yahoo!Music now and googled her, ended up here. So I guess I can't make a judgement on her as an artist yet seeing as I've only heard that one song.
My all time favourite song has to be Iris by Goo Goo Dolls though. |

Mines is What If I'm Right.
My all time favourite song is Dire Straits: Romeo and Juliet.
It said on her old website that Sandi Thom's all time favourite song was Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun |
